MEDITATION TO ELIMINATE STRESS
Find a quiet place and sit or lie down in a comfortable position, close your eyes, and place your hands in your lap or over your heart.
Use a calming melody of natural sounds or a mantra to set the mood. Start by taking a few deep, slow breaths.
Inhale deeply through your nose and exhale gently through your mouth. With each breath, feel your body relax and the stress begin to dissipate.
Direct your attention to your body. Imagine a warm, relaxing light starting at the top of your head. With each inhalation, allow this light to slowly move through your body, relaxing every muscle and melting away tension. Imagine yourself in a beautiful natural place. It could be a beach, a forest, a mountain, or any environment that relaxes you. Notice the details of this place: the colors, the sounds, and the sensations.
Feel the peace it brings you. With each exhalation, visualize yourself releasing all worries and tensions. Feel them dissolve into the air and drift away from you.
Repeat positive affirmations silently or aloud, such as "I am at peace," "I am stress-free," or "My mind is calm." Take a few additional deep breaths to recharge your energy and relax.
Perform this exercise for 10 minutes. Slowly and gently, begin to become aware of your surroundings. Feel the surface you're sitting or lying on, and open your eyes when you feel ready, carrying the feeling of calm and peace with you throughout your day.
